Job description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Developer located in Harrogate, with the flexibility of some work from home. The Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress and Shopify websites. Day-to-day tasks include coding, testing, debugging, and ensuring website performance and security. The role also involves collaborating with the UX/UI design team and other stakeholders to implement new features and improvements.
Requirements
- Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify development
- Familiarity with UX and UI design principles
- Understanding of SEO and performance optimization
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
