Backend .Net Developer - INTL Colombia

A client is building out a nearshore development presence in Colombia and is looking for a Mid-Senior C#/.NET Developer to join as one of their first team members. This individual will play a critical role in supporting several applications.

The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack developer who can contribute across web, desktop, and database technologies while providing real-time collaboration and support to U.S.-based senior developer. This position is highly visible and offers the opportunity to help shape the success of the broader nearshore team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance functionality across multiple internal business applications.

Support a suite of applications used for various account transactions and trade functions.

Work across web, desktop, and database technologies including: C#, ASP.NET MVC, WPF, SQL Server.

Partner directly with senior developer to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.

Provide real-time support during business hours to ensure quick issue resolution and user satisfaction.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Help establish best practices and contribute to the long-term success of the Colombia-based team.

• 5+ years of strong C# development experience.
• Strong SQL Server development and database experience.
• Experience with ASP.Net and MVC web applications.
• Experience enhancing and supporting existing applications.
• Experience developing new application functionality and features.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate directly with U.S.-based stakeholders. - Strong WPF experience.
• Experience supporting and developing both Windows and web-based applications.
