Information Security Specialist

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for securing and governing Fagron’s cloud and enterprise environments. You will operate at the intersection of security operations, cloud security governance, and security project delivery, working closely with the SOC, IT, Architecture, and Risk & Compliance teams. This role requires strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise security capabilities across cloud platforms and identity domains, a risk-based mindset, and the ability to translate security requirements into practical, scalable solutions., Security Operations & Incident Response

• Investigate and respond to security alerts.
• Support incident response.
• Analyse and correlate security events.
• Work with IT, identity teams, and vendors to resolve incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and improve detections and controls.

Cloud & Identity Security (Azure & Entra ID)

• Own and improve security across the enterprise cloud environment.
• Manage identities, roles, access, and integrations.
• Ensure secure onboarding of new applications.
• Continuously assess and improve cloud security posture.

Security Projects & Collaboration

• Drive security initiatives (cloud hardening, monitoring, identity improvements).
• Work cross-functionally with IT, Architecture, and Compliance teams.
• Translate security requirements into practical implementations.
• Track risks, progress, and dependencies.

Risk, Compliance & Audits

• Perform security assessments aligned with ISMS.
• Identify gaps across cloud, identity, endpoints, and logging.
• Support audits and vendor risk assessments.
• Apply pragmatic, risk-based improvements.

Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate penetration testing and security exercises.
• Improve detection quality and incident response processes.
• Stay up to date with developments in security and threat landscape.

• 3-5 years of experience in information security
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud security.
• Solid understanding of cloud, identity, and security operations
• A practical, risk-based mindset.
• Someone proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented
• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with PowerShell, automation, or certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) is a plus
