Grafana Backend Kubernetes Apache Kafka Linkerd (Service Mesh) Elixir

Job description

Design, implement and manage infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS
Collaborate with our Ruby/Elixir backend team to containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes
Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness
Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Grafana/Prometheus
Ensure the security of our environments by following best practices and implementing security controls
Automate Kubernetes deployment and management processes using Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi
Maintain service communication using Linkerd
Integrate application dependencies like RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Snowflake, DynamoDB
Help plan and take ownership of deploying and maintaining our internal tools
Deal with the challenges of an established and continuously growing project

Requirements

Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or similar role (e.g. DevOps engineer with Kubernetes focus)
Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs
Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and administration
Enjoy problem solving and have a keen eye for details
Thrive in a small, agile team environment
Love giving and receiving constructive feedback
Independent, precise, and well-organized work style
Enjoy to share knowledge and learn
Driven by the challenge of delivering high-performance and scalable solutions
Proficient in English; speaking German is a plus
