Job description

As the Platform Architect for Integration, you will provide architectural leadership for our integration domain, ensuring platforms, standards, and roadmaps are aligned with enterprise architecture principles and business priorities. You will help drive platform evolution, promote reusable integration patterns, and support the delivery of secure, high-performing technology solutions across the organisation., * Define and evolve the integration platform architecture to meet current and future business needs.

  • Align platform roadmaps with enterprise architecture and wider technology strategy.
  • Establish standards, patterns, and best practices that improve consistency and maintainability.
  • Manage and reduce technical debt to support long-term platform sustainability.
  • Provide architectural guidance through design reviews, governance activities, and solution assurance.
  • Develop architecture roadmaps, blueprints, and reference architectures.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and support strategic investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience in platform, solution, or enterprise architecture roles within complex cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of architecture principles, governance, and design patterns.
  • Experience designing secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Experience across technology design, delivery, and optimisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategy with practical delivery needs.
  • Experience managing technical debt and driving continuous improvement.

Desirable Requirements

  • Large-scale cloud transformation or integration modernisation experience.
  • Knowledge of hybrid integration across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments.
  • Understanding of data architecture, event-driven platforms, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Understanding of agile delivery models and product-oriented ways of working.
  • Experience contributing to architecture governance forums.
