Job description
- Support the Business Data Manager with daily administrative and compliance tasks.
- Process daily job packs and complete consignment documentation.
- Liaise with management, supervisors, operational teams, and customers.
- Monitor workflows to ensure jobs are processed and completed within agreed timescales.
- Raise purchase orders and carry out general administrative duties.
- Maintain compliance records and ensure documentation is accurate, up to date, and readily available.
- Manage both electronic and paper filing systems.
- Maintain company certifications, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external training bookings and maintain training records.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Requirements
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator looking to develop their career within a successful and expanding business. Reporting to the Office Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting compliance, data management, and day-to-day administration across both the office and operational site.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in both office and yard environments as required and will thrive in a fast-paced setting where accuracy and organisation are essential., * GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in an office-based administrative role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
- Flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work.
- Experience using SAP or similar database systems is advantageous but not essential.
