Design system specialist

As a UI - Design System Designer, you will join the design team within one of BE leading digital ecosystems, working closely with fellow designers and a team of developers., * Design and manage components that form the backbone of the design system

• Align the design system with the broader branding guidelines
• Support fellow designers in adopting and applying the system day-to-day
• Monitor accessibility and carry out evaluations in line with applicable standards
• Write clear documentation and guidelines for designers and developers
• Coordinate closely with front-end developers across mobile and web
• Safeguard consistency, quality and scalability across all components
• Launch new ideas and improve processes that increase the system’s impact
• Act as senior sparring partner on design system decisions
• Explore how AI can strengthen design processes and efficiency, * Join a leading BE brand undergoing high-impact digital design initiatives

• At least 5 years of experience as a UI designer
• 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining a design system
• Proven experience working closely with developers and product teams
• Strong track record on complex, large-scale digital products
• Comfortable navigating cross-functional stakeholder environments
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with good knowledge of English
