The Analyst II delivers advanced clinical and commercial insights and supports the development of high-quality patient-based forecasts across a broad range of diseases. With a strong command of forecasting methodologies and market analysis, this role contributes directly to Citeline’s mission by producing strategic, client-ready content and guiding junior team members. The role operates cross-functionally to support content planning, model defense, and ad hoc requests that enhance the value of the company’s syndicated and custom offerings., * Independently monitor disease market events, clinical milestones, and regulatory developments to proactively update forecasts and prioritize content updates.

• Build and maintain detailed patient-based forecast models across multiple diseases, ensuring alignment with commercial analysis and accuracy in assumptions, calculations, and data sourcing.
• Conduct and lead KOL interviews and use primary and secondary research insights to refine forecasting assumptions and support written deliverables across therapy areas.
• Author client-ready research outputs, including disease landscape reports, forecast rationales, event commentary, and ad hoc financial analysis, with minimal editorial input.
• Independently manage multiple projects by accurately scoping timelines, solving model or data issues, and coordinating across functional teams.
• Provide high-level client support through the Ask the Analyst service, including defending forecast assumptions and model structures, and supporting demos with sales teams.
• Share forecasting and disease expertise with internal teams (e.g., Insights, editorial, epidemiology) and contribute to external commentary, training sessions, or PR opportunities as appropriate.
• Mentor junior analysts by reviewing content, advising on research approaches and methodologies, and fostering collaboration across the commercial content team.

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences; other relevant degrees will be considered. Graduate degree a plus.
• Has at least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare consulting, or related research roles. Commensurate skills include demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical analysis, the ability to independently manage research tasks and primary interviews, and proficiency in producing client-ready deliverables.
• Has a strong grasp of pharmaceutical markets and the drug development lifecycle.
• Experienced in delivering SWOT analyses, market forecasts, and commercial assessments.
• Brings therapy area-specific experience and the ability to conduct in-depth landscape analysis.
• Has proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and preferably experience with Tableau or Alteryx.
• Demonstrates consistent accuracy in collecting and analyzing complex data sets.
• Capable of working independently on research assignments while supporting team collaboration
