Job description
To support our Sales department at Volvo Car Austria, we are looking for a student intern (m/f/x)
20 hours per week, fixed-term contract for at least 1 yearAre you interested in complementing your studies with exciting professional experience at one of the most sustainable companies in a changing and rapidly evolving automotive industry? Then we look forward to receiving your application.
Your mission is to support the Sales Team by:
- Analyzing data, identifying trends, and deriving concrete recommendations for action.
- Assisting with communication with our sales partners to help strengthen relationships and optimize processes.
- Helping to plan and execute events.
- You’ll create insightful reports that serve as a basis for the team’s decision-making.
- You’ll help publish sales-related content.
- You’ll work closely with the Key Account/Fleet department and other relevant teams.
Requirements
- You’re motivated, eager to learn, and have a good knack for numbers and people:
- You are a currently enrolled student and are interested in sales processes and their impact.
- You are curious about the automotive industry and the Volvo brand.
- You work independently and in a structured manner, and you have a detail-oriented approach to your work.
- You enjoy direct contact with Volvo partners
- You have excellent German skills and are business-fluent in English
- You are proficient in MS Office and have advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Query Editor in particular
- You have basic knowledge of VBA and Python and are proficient in using AI tools to independently find solutions and troubleshoot issues
- You already have experience with Vibe Coding and prompt engineering
- You hold a Class B driver’s license.
Benefits & conditions
- Standard employment contract for student employees with a minimum duration of 12 months
- Weekly work hours of approximately 20 hours with flexible scheduling of your daily work hours. Additionally, you have the option to work from home 6 days a month
- Fair compensation based on the collective bargaining agreement for the retail sector (€2,251 gross monthly on a full-time basis, prorated according to individually agreed-upon working hours)
- Coverage of the cost of the annual Wiener Linien transit pass
- Skill development opportunities within the organization
