Your tasks

Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong knowledge of Python. In this role, you will contribute to the development and evolution of a large-scale, business-critical application, working closely with business stakeholders to translate complex contractual requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend features usingPythonandFlaskwithin an existing large codebase
• Collaborate directly with business teams to understand contract requirements and translate them intoAPIs,data models, and backend logic
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code through best engineering practices
• Process and manipulate data using tools such asPandasandPydantic
• Contribute to the design and optimization ofSQL-based data models and queries
• Containerize applications and services usingDocker
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance in anAWSenvironment
• Implement and maintain observability usingGrafana,Elasticsearch/Kibana (ELK), andSentry
• Work in close collaboration with frontend developers (React / Highcharts) to ensure seamless integration with backend APIs

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
