Job description

Now Hiring: FSQ Positive Release Supervisor Reports To: QA Manager, Reporting to the FSQ Manager, the FSQ Positive Release Supervisor ensures compliance with positive release processes for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging materials. This role oversees food safety record reviews, finished goods release in the ERP system, laboratory coordination, and compliance with GMP, FSMA, FDA, and GFSI standards., * Review and approve food safety and quality records across batching, processing, filling, packaging, and sanitation.

  • Oversee laboratory testing records, including analytical, microbiological, and package integrity testing.
  • Supervise Positive Release Specialists and lab technicians.
  • Coordinate finished goods release and inventory transactions within the ERP system.
  • Maintain release logs, deviation tracking, KPI reporting, and electronic production records.
  • Support root cause investigations, customer complaints, and quality event management.
  • Collaborate with operations and external customers to resolve quality and compliance issues.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or equivalent required; combination of education and food manufacturing experience preferred.

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in Quality & Food Safety within food or beverage manufacturing.
  • Experience with food/beverage laboratory operations and microbiological or commercial sterility testing.
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, FSMA, FDA regulations, and ERP systems (SAP, Ross, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite., * Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Experience with aseptic processing and packaging.
  • Better Process Control School (Aseptic Packaging) completion.
  • PCQI certification, HACCP training, and Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience developing and implementing food safety and quality systems.
