Job description

At Speelyaal, we are seeking a talented and experienced Rust Developer to join our growing team. As a Rust Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, efficient, and scalable applications to enhance our platform and provide the best user experience for our customers., * Design, develop, and maintain applications using Rust programming language

  • Work closely with the development team to understand requirements, provide technical input, and contribute to the overall architecture, design, and implementation of new features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality code on time
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging of existing codebases
  • Continually optimize code performance to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the Rust ecosystem and suggest improvements and best practices to the team
  • Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues as they arise
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders on project progress, timelines, and potential roadblocks

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Rust Developer or in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of the Rust programming language and its ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with Rest APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Linux or Unix environments
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
