Job description

As a developer, you will work directly on our core applications, software used daily by thousands of ticket buyers and venue staff. You’ll ship improvements and features, working in a focused core product team of ~5 developers.

Our platform handles complex ticketing logic, payments, partner ecosystems and continuous traffic. Tickets are sold 24/7, so reliability and performance are essential., * Develop and improve the backend of our ticketing platform (PHP / Symfony or Laravel)

  • Contribute to a high-availability system (24/7) used for continuous ticket sales
  • Build and maintain partner integrations (e.g. UiTPAS, payment providers, access control, CRMs)
  • Implement new product features end-to-end with Product & UX
  • Contribute to ticketshop UIs using Vue.js / Inertia
  • Analyse performance and implement optimisations
  • Help monitor the platform
  • Debug complex issues and shape long-term architectural decisions
  • Review code and contribute to engineering standards
  • You Build It, You Run It

  • Investigating & improving performance bottlenecks

  • Plugin architecture: Build on top of a platform that allows deep customisation
  • Ecosystem integrations: Payments, CRMs, identity, access control, UiTPAS, …
  • Always-on: Ticketing never sleeps: we operate 24/7

Requirements

  • Strong experience with PHP (Symfony or Laravel)
  • Solid experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks (Vue.js, Inertia is a plus)
  • Experience with complex, long-lived systems (Ticketmatic has 10+ years of product evolution)
  • Knowledge of standard software engineering practices:git, testing, documentation, CI/CD, versioning
  • Good understanding of web technologies & APIs(HTML, JSON, REST, browser APIs, …)
  • A problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership
  • Strong communication skills & ability to work autonomously

Nice to have (not required):

  • Docker / Kubernetes
  • Experience with distributed or high-availability systems
  • Experience with payments, ticketing, e-commerce or partner ecosystems
