Lead Cloud Architect

Humana Inc. seeks a Lead Cloud Architect in Louisville, KY., Duties: Lead the design and architecture of complex cloud solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Develop and implement cloud strategies, including migration plans, to support the organization’s goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the cloud engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Collaborate with senior management, development teams, and other stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with business objectives. Oversee the optimization of cloud infrastructure performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. Lead complex problem resolution efforts related to cloud infrastructure and applications. Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and improvement in cloud technologies and processes. 100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.

5 years of experience in IT management, cloud services administration, DevOps engineering, or related occupation.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree, The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in IT management, cloud services administration, DevOps engineering, or related occupation.

The position requires 5 years of experience with the following:

• Cloud services, including advanced storage solutions, databases, and networking.

• CI/CD pipelines and tools.

• Version control systems including Git.

• Automating deployment pipelines and integrating them with Azure Devops.

• Cloud cost management and optimization strategies.

• Leading teams of 3 or more, providing guidance, technical requirements and documentation.
