Early career - Software developer in Test, Sales Engineering

As an Early Careers SDET in Sales Engineering, you will help ensure the quality of applications and services used by our channel partners, in Apple Stores, and by internal teams across the business. Our main products include DCOTA (Digital Content Over The Air), which manages over 1.4 million devices in our partners’ stores, and StoreFront, the go-to app for partner staff to manage their stores - covering marketing campaigns, fulfilment, ticketing, and support.You will work across our full stack - testing backend APIs, web frontends, and native iOS applications - with a focus on making smart decisions about what to automate and what to validate manually. Working alongside senior SDETs and software engineers, you will help the team move from repetitive manual testing toward intelligent, maintainable automation, while ensuring nothing ships without the right level of confidence.We value engineers who see AI as a natural part of modern quality engineering - someone who thinks about how to generate test cases from specifications, automate UI and API tests from well-defined test documents, and continuously improve how the team validates software., * Design and execute test plans across APIs, web applications, and native iOS apps

• Identify what should be automated and contribute to the team’s automation frameworks
• Develop and maintain automated tests - functional, regression, and performance
• Leverage AI tools to generate test cases, automate test creation, and improve test coverage
• Collaborate with software engineers to understand changes and assess risk

• Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, with the ability to write and maintain test automation code
• Understanding of test design principles - knowing how to write effective test cases and when to automate them
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and how quality fits into them
• Curiosity about how AI can transform quality engineering practices, * B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience; non-traditional backgrounds are valued
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration
• Familiarity with performance and load testing concepts
• Experience using AI tools to generate or maintain test artefacts
