Job description

Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Contribute to the design and evolution of analytical data models.
Perform data profiling and analysis on operational databases.
Support data quality, governance, and documentation initiatives.
Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure reliable and high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of Databricks and PySpark (the Data Warehouse is currently being migrated to this platform).
Solid experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and T-SQL for data profiling and analysis.

Data Expertise

Good understanding of Data Governance principles (DMBOK or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with Kimball dimensional modeling.
Knowledge of Data Vault is considered a strong asset.

Business Knowledge

Experience in the Life Insurance industry is a significant advantage, enabling an effective translation of business needs into data solutions.

Soft Skills

End-to-end vision and understanding of data flows.
Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding documentation, testing, and data quality.
Analytical mindset, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
