Security Architect (Cloud) in Warrington

Join a forward-thinking organisation delivering large-scale technology transformation across a highly regulated environment. As a Cloud Security Architect, you’ll play a key role in ensuring cloud- solutions are designed securely from day one, helping protect critical services and data.

• Strong experience designing secure cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. \n

• Knowledge of Azure, AWS or Google Cloud security services. \n

• Experience with threat modelling methodologies (STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK etc.). \n

• Understanding of IAM, encryption, networking and cloud- security controls. \n

• Knowledge of CIS, NIST, ISO27001 and security architecture frameworks. \n

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments. \n

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. \n

• CISSP, CCSP or equivalent certifications desirable. \n

• Design secure cloud architectures across Azure, AWS and/or GCP environments. \n

• Conduct threat modelling and security risk assessments for cloud-based solutions. \n

• Produce high and low-level security designs aligned with business and regulatory requirements. \n

• Embed security throughout the project lifecycle, working alongside Solution Architects and delivery teams. \n

• Review cloud solutions against security standards, policies and best practice. \n

• Support security governance activities and provide remediation recommendations. \n

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure-by-design principles. \n

• Advise stakeholders on cloud security risks, compliance and technical controls. \n
