Job description

We’re looking for a skilled Sr. Full Stack Developer to help build, modernize, and support high-performing applications across cloud and enterprise environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful engineering initiatives involving Java, AWS, microservices, APIs, and cloud migration efforts in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable backend and full stack solutions using Java and related frameworks
  • Build scalable cloud-based applications and support migration of existing applications to AWS
  • Develop and enhance services using AWS tools and platforms such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS
  • Create and support RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate cleanly across systems
  • Contribute to architecture decisions that support performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Support production releases, maintenance, upgrades, patches, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies and ongoing delivery efforts
  • Help promote engineering best practices such as test automation, CI/CD, and clean code standards
  • Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of professional experience in software development
  • Strong Java development experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services
  • Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in team-based environments
  • Comfort working in Agile delivery settings

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with additional technologies such as C#, Python, or .NET
  • Exposure to serverless application design and container-to-cloud modernization
  • Background in CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and test automation
  • Experience with monitoring, metrics, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance-aware development
  • Experience documenting processes, playbooks, or technical solutions
  • Ability to help others through troubleshooting, mentoring, and collaborative problem-solving
