Regional System Support Specialist

The primary function of this role is to provide installation, maintenance and support for all IS related hardware and software. This function may also be required to recommend solutions that span their specific locations.

• Provide functional and technical support to BlueScope associates
• Provide clear and cordial communication to internal and external customers
• Manage assts, uptime, and performance of networks, machines, and systems as assigned
• Ensure that standard BlueScope hardware and software is being maintained and in working condition as required
• Ensure that all requests are recorded and completed to customer satisfaction
• Document resolutions to requests for future reference
• Recognize and report developing trends in the support process and technologies, The preceding job responsibilities and tasks were designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by associates in this job. • High School diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant work experience including desktop support, network administration, and computer hardware support
• Proficient with PC and server management systems

• Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field
