Job description

We are seeking experienced Software Engineers to support the development of advanced, mission-critical signal processing and distributed computing systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with strong C/C++, Python, and Linux experience who are interested in working on technically challenging systems throughout the full software development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop software for distributed computing and signal processing systems
  • Support the complete software lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, validation, installation, and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain software in C/C++ and Python
  • Work extensively within Linux environments
  • Participate in software design, implementation, testing, and peer reviews
  • Troubleshoot software defects and support system changes
  • Collaborate with software, systems, and signal processing engineers
  • Support integration and installation of systems at company and customer facilities

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
  • Ability to obtain SSBI
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Professional experience with C/C++
  • Experience with Python
  • Strong experience working in Linux environments
  • Experience with Git/version control
  • Experience working within Agile development environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related required technical discipline

Highly Desired Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:

  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP) or signal processing
  • Real-time software or algorithm development
  • High-performance or distributed computing
  • TCP/IP networking
  • RabbitMQ, NATS, or AMQP
  • REST APIs / OpenAPI
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Helm or ArgoCD
  • GitLab, Nexus, or SonarQube
  • AWS, VMware, or other cloud technologies
  • Prometheus, Loki, or Grafana
  • Terraform, Ansible, or Packer
  • Rancher, RKE2, or K3S
  • DISA STIGs or CIS security benchmarks
  • Web-based GUI development
  • Jira and Confluence

Ideal Candidate

The strongest candidates will combine a solid C++/Python/Linux software engineering background with experience developing complex, real-time, distributed, or signal-processing systems in defense, aerospace, intelligence, or other mission-critical environments.
