RESPONSIBILITIES: As Lead IT Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to hands-on project execution and provide technical leadership to projects while mentoring a team of engineers. You will be empowered to flex your extensive technical knowledge, as you take the initiative to design, implement, and test new business support solutions. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to determine the future direction of IT department work. YOU WILL APPLY YOUR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE TO:

  • Configure, test, validate new hardware, and provide user support.
  • Ensure security/robustness of corporate systems (backup, encryption, etc.).
  • Administration of corporate desktop/laptop systems spanning Linux, Mac, and Windows.
  • Perform other IT duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate IT, preferable as Lead Engineer or Team Lead.
  • Experience with wireless LAN, VPN, and other relevant networking technologies.
  • Proven track record troubleshooting critical issues and providing excellent user support.
  • Familiar with inventory/asset management.
  • Ability to learn new things quickly ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
