Job description
Trade Recruit is recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and fast-growing business within the renewable energy sector for a talented Operations Data Analyst to join their team on a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at a key stage of its growth. Rather than simply maintaining spreadsheets and producing reports, you’ll play an important role in helping the company understand its operational performance, improve processes and make better use of its data.
Working primarily with ServiceM8, you’ll be at the centre of the company’s operational information - ensuring data is accurate, identifying trends, monitoring performance and providing management and operational teams with the insights they need to make informed decisions.
The role starts at 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with genuine potential for the hours and responsibilities to grow as the business expands.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Using ServiceM8 to monitor, maintain and analyse operational data
· Turning operational data into clear, useful reports and insights
· Monitoring job progress, workloads and key performance information
· Ensuring job records and business data are accurate and up to date
· Identifying trends, discrepancies and opportunities for improvement
· Using Excel to analyse, organise and report on business performance
· Providing management with reliable information to support decision-making
· Supporting field and office teams with accurate operational data
· Helping the business improve its reporting processes and use of ServiceM8
· Providing additional operational and analytical support during busy periods
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data but also understands the bigger operational picture.
You’ll ideally have:
· Experience in a data, operations, reporting or analytical role
· ServiceM8 experience - a strong advantage
· Strong Excel and general IT skills
· Excellent attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy
· Confidence interpreting data and presenting information clearly
· A proactive mindset - someone who spots issues and looks for solutions
· The ability to manage your own workload effectively
· Confidence working independently in a fully remote environment
· Experience within renewable energy, engineering, utilities or field services would be advantageous, If you’re confident with ServiceM8, Excel and operational data and want a flexible remote role where your contribution will genuinely make a difference, Trade Recruit wants to hear from you.
Benefits & conditions
· £18-£22 per hour, depending on experience
· 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday
· Fully remote
· Genuine potential for increased hours as the company grows
· Additional hours available depending on business requirements
· Opportunity to make a real impact on how the business operates
· Join a growing company within the rapidly developing renewable energy sector
· Varied role with the opportunity to develop alongside the business
· Long-term opportunity for the right person
· Full recruitment support from Trade Recruit
This isn’t just a data-entry position. Our client wants someone who can take ownership of operational data, spot what’s happening within the business and help teams work smarter and more efficiently.
