Develop automated tests across frontend and backend components.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, refinement, estimation and sprint delivery.

Identify technical risks, dependencies, API contract issues and integration concerns early.

Support knowledge sharing between frontend-heavy and backend-heavy team members.

Contribute to improvements in engineering standards, tooling and development practices.

Take ownership of features through design, development, testing, release support and defect resolution., Uses approved AI development tooling across frontend and backend development tasks.

Leverages AI to accelerate boilerplate, test creation, troubleshooting and documentation.

Validates AI-generated code for security, correctness, maintainability and consistency across the stack.

Strong understanding of REST API design and consumption patterns.

Experience with SQL databases, schema design and query writing.

Experience writing automated tests for frontend and backend code.

Experience using Git and pull request workflows.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build/deployment processes.

Understanding of clean code, maintainability, error handling and secure development practices.

Ability to troubleshoot issues across the full technology stack.

Desirable

Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus and Application Insights.

Experience with microservice, distributed or event-driven architectures.

Experience with NX monorepos, Docker or containerisation technologies.

Familiarity with performance diagnostics, logging, monitoring or KQL.

Experience working in Agile product teams with QA and Product Owner collaboration.

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

Autonomous delivery, comfortable operating across the stack without constant support.

Systems thinking, understanding how frontend, backend and data decisions affect each other.

Collaborative and able to bridge specialist frontend and backend engineers effectively.

Clear communicator who surfaces ambiguity, integration issues and delivery risk early.

Able to prioritise work across multiple technical concerns without dropping quality.

Continuous improvement mindset, contributing to standards, patterns and team learning., * C#: 5 years (required)
