DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and proactive DevOps Engineer to join a team delivering solutions across Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

This is a hands-on DevOps position focused on improving CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes and enhancing the security, reliability and efficiency of software delivery across the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.

You will work closely with developers, testers, architects and other technical stakeholders within an Agile environment, helping to build and maintain robust deployment processes for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions., * Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.

• Develop, manage and optimise Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines and repositories.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Manage source control, including Git branching, merging and release strategies.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, deployment and operational activities.
• Implement secure deployment practices and ensure compliance with relevant security standards.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting and logging across Azure environments.
• Support containerisation initiatives using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective resolutions.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and architects to improve development and release processes.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve overall delivery efficiency.

• Proven commercial experience working as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong experience designing, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and the wider Microsoft Cloud ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, including ARM, Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Strong PowerShell Scripting skills.
• Experience deploying and managing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Git, including branching, merging and release strategies.
• Practical experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for repository management and pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes within a DevOps environment.
• Good understanding of cloud and DevOps security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting technologies such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Active SC Clearance.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Azure or DevOps certifications, such as AZ-400, AZ-104 or AZ-900.
• Experience with additional Scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Extensive experience working with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform delivery pipelines.
