Senior Associate Hardware Configuration ( Palm Bay, FL )

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate, Hardware Configuration Management to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining configuration management processes for complex hardware systems through the entire product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation, traceability, and control of hardware assets. This role provides additional as-required support to the design and program management teams as a subject matter expert for analyses, consultations, special topic discussions, tools support, DevOps support, and other tasking as required. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to quality and continuous process improvement. Essential Functions: Implement and maintain hardware configuration management (CM) processes according to industry standards and program requirements. Manage configuration documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), hardware configuration records, drawings, specifications, and change notices.

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Active TS/SCI with Poly is required Preferred Additional Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of relevant configuration management experience, preferably with hardware or complex systems in aerospace, defense, or electronics industries. Working knowledge of configuration management standards (e.g., EIA-649, ANSI, MIL-STD-973).
