Sr Application Developer, Financial Systems

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Applications Developer to enhance and support business-critical financial applications, reporting solutions, and workflow automation initiatives. This person will partner with Finance, IT, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to build integrations, develop automated workflows, maintain SQL-based applications and reports, and improve the efficiency and reliability of core finance-related systems. Based on the background of the departing employee, this role combines application development, workflow automation, reporting, and systems integration responsibilities.

5+ years of application development experience supporting financial or business-critical applications

Strong SQL Server experience

Experience with workflow automation platforms

C# development experience

Experience building system integrations (REST and/or SOAP APIs)

Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder communication skills SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)

Metastorm workflow experience

XSLT development experience

Windows Server administration/support

Legal industry or professional services experience

Financial systems application support

Business intake, conflicts, risk, or compliance workflow experience

Experience modernizing or automating manual business processes
