Enterprise Data Architect (SC Cleared)

This is an excellent opportunity for an architect with extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale data architecture across multiple concurrent workstreams. You will provide strategic leadership, architectural governance and assurance, ensuring data solutions align with organisational standards and long-term business objectives., * Lead enterprise data architecture across multiple programmes and workstreams.

• Define and maintain data architecture principles, standards and target-state architectures.
• Translate complex business and data requirements into scalable architectural solutions.
• Provide strategic oversight of data architecture, ensuring consistency across initiatives.
• Drive best practice in areas including:
• Data architecture
• Entity resolution
• Master Data Management (MDM)
• Data governance
• Data quality
• Metadata management
• Produce high-quality architecture artefacts, standards and design documentation.
• Provide architectural assurance and governance for solution designs.
• Work closely with senior business and technical stakeholders to influence strategic direction.
• Support cross-functional teams throughout delivery, ensuring architectural alignment.
• Mentor and guide technical teams, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have a strong consulting background or experience working within large-scale systems integration and public sector programmes., * 5+ years’ experience leading enterprise or data architecture engagements.

• 3+ years’ experience designing complex enterprise data architectures.
• Strong background in enterprise data modelling and architecture frameworks.
• Experience defining data architecture principles, standards and governance models.
• Demonstrable experience with:
• Master Data Management (MDM)
• Data Governance
• Entity Resolution
• Data Integration
• Data Quality
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at senior leadership level.
• Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Consulting or systems integration experience is highly desirable.
• Previous public sector experience is advantageous.
