Job description

Coordinate and support the planning, delivery, and governance of changes to platforms, business applications and operational processes. Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, service teams, and external partners to ensure that application and platform enhancements, configuration updates, and process improvements are well designed, impact assessed, documented, tested, and successfully embedded into business-as-usual operations., * Coordinate updates, enhancements, and configuration changes across business-critical platforms and applications, ensuring smooth end to end delivery through design, build, test, and release

  • Maintain visibility of platform and application roadmaps, release calendars, and demand pipelines, ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged at the right stages
  • Support platform and application lifecycle management activities, including versioning, patching, deprecation planning, and vendor driven upgrades
  • Work with system and application owners to ensure functional specifications, acceptance criteria, user stories, and change requests are properly defined and traceable Business Process Analysis & Improvement

  • Map and analyse existing business processes, identifying impacts, gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement or automation
  • Collaborate with business process owners to redesign workflows, eliminate duplication, and align process changes with application capability
  • Support business units in adapting to new processes by developing clear documentation, guidance materials, and training artefacts Business Readiness & Adoption

  • Assess change readiness across affected teams, identifying training needs, operational impacts, and communication requirements
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring test scripts, defect logs, and acceptance outcomes are clearly managed
  • Track post implementation adoption, gathering feedback to evaluate whether changes are delivering intended business value Governance, Control & Compliance

  • Facilitate structured impact assessments (functional, business, data, privacy, financial) for all application and process changes
  • Maintain accurate RAID logs, ensuring risks, issues, and dependencies are proactively managed and escalated
  • Ensure all change activity complies with organisational governance, including information security, data protection, audit controls, and quality assurance standards
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining clear documentation and evidence of change processes Stakeholder Engagement & Cross Functional Coordination

  • Serve as a liaison between business teams, application support, product owners, developers, testers, and vendors
  • Ensure communication around changes is timely, clear, and tailored to the needs of different audiences
  • Facilitate workshops, working groups, and process review sessions, ensuring actions and decisions are captured and followed through Insight, Reporting & Decision Support

  • Produce and present change dashboards, readiness assessments, business impact summaries, and governance papers
  • Analyse platform and application performance, incident trends, user feedback, and service data to support prioritisation and improvement decisions
  • Provide structured recommendations to support investment planning, service improvements, and change prioritisation

Requirements

We are looking for someone with

  • Experience coordinating platform and application changes, configuration updates, or business process improvement activities
  • Strong understanding of business applications, workflows, and the relationship between process, data, and technology

  • Knowledge of application testing cycles (including UAT), release management, and defect management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical or process changes in business friendly language
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across diverse business areas and leadership levels
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple concurrent changes
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience turning data into meaningful insights and reports.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) with the ability to handle large data sets

Desirable

  • Experience with enterprise applications and platforms
  • Working knowledge of Lean techniques, business analysis frameworks, and service improvement methodologies
  • Experience supporting change in regulated, multi site, or complex operational environments
  • Understanding of Agile delivery methods
