Job description
Following an intensive onboarding period that covers Blücher GmbH’s processes and internal guidelines:
- Take responsibility for our ERP system.
- Ensure the availability, stability, and security of the ERP system through regular maintenance, updates, patches, and prompt troubleshooting.
- Analyze, design, develop, and implement enhancements and customizations in Business Central-in close coordination with the business departments and our ERP partner.
- Maintaining and further developing interfaces to other IT systems and external applications, as well as performing data migrations and synchronizations.
- Developing and providing reports within our PowerBI BI solution in close coordination with the business departments.
- Supporting and training end users, and creating user-friendly documentation and guides for optimal system use.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: We require proven experience in customizing and further developing ERP solutions-particularly Business Central.
- Technical Expertise: Solid programming skills in AL (Application Language) development for Business Central.
- Databases: Solid knowledge of working with SQL databases, including query syntax, performance optimization, and database design.
- BI & Reporting: Experience in developing and customizing BI solutions, particularly with Power BI, is a plus.
- Analytical Thinking & Process Understanding: Analytical thinking and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implement them across departments.
- Languages: Good written and spoken English skills.
- Problem Solving: Well-rounded knowledge of error analysis and debugging within the ERP system.
- Work Ethic: Responsible, reliable, and self-directed work.
- Communication: Ability to work well in a team and strong communication skills-both within the team and with business departments and external partners.
- Confidentiality: Confidential handling of internal information and sensitive data.
