Job description

We are seeking a Java Developer with 2-4 years of professional experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices, along with exposure to modern cloud and DevOps technologies., * Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.

  • Build scalable REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
  • Work with SQL databases and optimize queries when required.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application deployments.
  • Work with Kafka and event-driven systems where applicable.
  • Follow secure coding, testing, documentation, and development best practices.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional Java development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21
  • Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling
  • Spring Boot and Spring Framework
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket
  • Unit and integration testing using JUnit/Mockito
  • Familiarity with Maven or Gradle
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Cloud & Modern Development Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is strongly preferred:

  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
  • Apache Kafka or other event-streaming technologies
  • Redis or other caching technologies
  • NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, or JWT
  • Knowledge of API Gateway and distributed systems
  • Experience with Kafka/event-driven architecture
  • Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK
  • Basic understanding of system design and scalable application architecture
  • Exposure to AI/LLM integration, Spring AI, or AI-enabled applications is a plus, * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or H4 EAD holder.
  • Must be willing to work on W2.
  • Must be willing to relocate anywhere in the United States for a suitable opportunity.
  • Must have 2-4 years of hands-on professional Java development experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
