Job description
Their primary responsibility is to build, retain and develop technicians and Shift Leads so the operating system can consistently deliver trained, certified and task-ready execution. Program Leads own training systems and certification integrity. Ensuring training is planned and delivered on shift, validated through direct observation and certified only through demonstrated execution. Program Leads prepare the organization to execute, carrying out their additional responsibilities to support the Program Manager to sustain the program’s overall success., * Identify and address training needs for direct reports, ensuring all technicians are certified in relevant tasks
- Conduct regular and meaningful employee 1:1’s with direct reports
- Assist with training signoffs through the Infinity Program
- Ensure the organization always has capable, engaged people to execute safely and predictably under variation.
- Coordinate and deliver training for the SOW (Scope of Work) program, delegating to shift leads where appropriate
- Ensuring meetings are scheduled, processes are followed and documentation is maintained
- Act as advisor to the Program Manager (PM) on any performance issues that arise, assist the PM in providing regular feedback & assist with implementation
- Report attendance anomalies and trends, ensuring compliance and addressing any discrepancies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer literacy (MS Office, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- In-depth understanding of shift coverage requirements and the ability to address staffing gaps
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating respect and professionalism in all interactions
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to follow procedures and pay great attention to detail
- Reliable, on time, positive attitude, work well with others
