Job description

  • Analyze and troubleshoot Guidewire BillingCenter data issues across upstream and downstream systems.
  • Work with the Guidewire BillingCenter data model, including Billing Transactions, Invoices, Billing Streams, Charge Patterns, and Commissions.
  • Perform SQL-based data analysis, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data quality.
  • Support financial reporting for Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Cash Tie-Outs.
  • Define business metadata, data definitions, and semantic models to support enterprise reporting and AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business, finance, and engineering teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve reporting accuracy., * Describe your hands-on experience with the Guidewire BillingCenter data model. Which entities have you worked with (e.g., Billing Transactions, Invoices, Billing Streams, Charge Patterns, Commissions)?
  • Tell me about a project where you reconciled BillingCenter data or resolved data discrepancies between Guidewire and downstream reporting systems. What was your role, and what SQL or reporting tools did you use?
  • Have you supported financial reporting such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), or Cash Tie-Outs? Explain your involvement and the reports or analytics you developed.

Requirements

Rockwoods seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer with strong experience in Guidewire BillingCenter and its underlying data model. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience analyzing billing and financial data, troubleshooting upstream data issues, reconciling data extracts, and supporting enterprise reporting within a Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance environment., * 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer.

  • Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter and its data model.
  • Strong SQL skills with data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting experience.
  • Experience supporting AR, AP, GL, Cash Tie-Outs, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, or other enterprise reporting platforms is a plus.
