Junior UI/UX Designer

The UI/UX Developer designs and implements the user interfaces for the platform. You will translate research and designs into accessible, high-quality front-end experiences, partnering with designers and developers to meet federal usability and Section 508 standards., * Implement responsive, accessible front-end interfaces for the platform

• Translate wireframes and designs into production UI components
• Ensure Section 508 / WCAG accessibility compliance
• Build and maintain a reusable component/design system
• Collaborate with HCD, product, and back-end developers
• Conduct and support usability testing and iteration
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling for UI development

• Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (2 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.

• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React or equivalent) and CSS
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG)
• Experience collaborating with designers and back-end teams, * Federal / USWDS experience
• Design-system experience
• Familiarity with AI-assisted front-end tooling
