  • Act as the central point of contact for product and master data across Purchasing, Category Management, Logistics and E-commerce.

  • Ensure minimum order quantities, stock-availability rules, pack sizes, unit pricing and tiered B2B or NHS pricing are accurately displayed.
  • Monitor product-page quality to improve searchability, customer experience and online conversion while reducing avoidable customer enquiries.
  • Manage ERP master data, including cost prices, selling prices, supplier SKUs, barcodes, GTINs, product dimensions and weights.
  • Ensure units of measure are correctly translated between supplier purchasing formats and customer-facing sales formats.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy and support faster product launches.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity across more than 10,000 medical products.

Requirements

  • At least three years’ experience in a Product Data, Master Data, Data Governance or similar role.
  • Proven experience managing or optimising a Product Information Management system such as Akeneo, Pimcore, InRiver or a similar platform.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex products, variants, tags, collections and metadata within Shopify or Shopify Plus.
  • Good understanding of ERP product and inventory data structures, ideally using systems such as Sage, NetSuite, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables and bulk data-cleaning formulas.
  • Strong understanding of product taxonomy, naming conventions, data governance and product catalogue management.
  • Experience managing bulk imports, product-data mapping and data synchronisation between multiple systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve data-quality issues before they affect customers or fulfilment.
  • Strong organisational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and large volumes of product information.
  • Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills across Purchasing, Logistics, E-commerce and senior management.
  • A proactive leadership mindset with the confidence to establish standards, challenge inconsistencies and take full ownership of product data.
  • Experience within healthcare, medical supplies, B2B e-commerce or wholesale would be advantageous.
