Job description

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions that support VRC’s operational and business objectives. This role will serve as a technical expert and strategic partner by customizing the Salesforce platform, improving system functionality, ensuring data integrity, and supporting integrations with enterprise systems. The Salesforce Developer will collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions that improve efficiency, reporting, and overall user experience.

Essential Functions

Salesforce Development & Configuration

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and other Salesforce technologies. Develop scalable solutions that align with business processes and organizational goals.

System Integration

Design, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs. Ensure seamless data synchronization and reliable system performance across multiple platforms.

Data Management & Reporting

Support data migration, validation, and ongoing data maintenance activities. Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and custom data structures that provide actionable insights for leadership and operational teams.

SDLC & Technical Support

Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and documentation. Support Agile development processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve system functionality.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

Partner with leadership, end users, and external vendors to identify business needs and recommend technical solutions. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help drive operational efficiency through automation and system enhancements.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Certified Salesforce Administrator certification?, Do you have experience in Salesforce Cloud?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented work style with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and system architecture
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly solutions for non-technical stakeholders
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions

Requirements:

Technical Skills & Requirements

  • Advanced experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow automation and custom object development
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP API integrations
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Data Loader, and Workbench
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with MuleSoft or middleware integration platforms is preferred, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, communicate, and work on a computer for extended periods of time. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, or lift office materials up to 15 pounds., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce development experience
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification required
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II or Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
  • Experience with custom objects, triggers, Flows, and security configurations required
