Sr. Technical Program Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you drive large, cross-functional technology programs that align with Yahoo’s CTO Transformation. You partner across engineering, finance, and operations to plan, manage, and scale technology services. You translate complex initiatives into executable plans with measurable outcomes and risks addressed. You will help optimize cloud usage and processes through AI-enabled automation, delivering tangible business impact. Compensation / Benefits * Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from strategy through execution, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes * Support financial strategy and operational planning for Central Technology, including cost transparency and budgeting * Partner with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and Infrastructure to identify and realize cloud cost optimization and efficiency gains * Develop scalable processes, governance, dashboards, and reporting to improve visibility and decision-making * Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows using AI-enabled solutions and tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude Code) * Translate roadmaps into execution plans and business cases for technical and executive audiences * Support strategic programs like cloud migration, enterprise systems transformation, tooling modernization, and governance Tasks * 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs * Ability to understand system architecture, dependencies, and delivery risks * Experience collaborating with engineering and technical teams to drive plans and decisions * Strong judgment and communication skills; capable of navigating ambiguity and influencing stakeholders * Experience partnering with Finance or FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, or investment planning Key requirements * flexible hybrid work * healthcare * 401k * backup childcare * education stipends
