Job description
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with 10-12 years of experience in the Banking & Financial Services domain, strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, and hands-on experience in data mapping and data analysis. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to analyze business requirements, define source-to-target mappings, ensure data quality, and support enterprise data initiatives., * Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements from banking stakeholders.
- Analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, and RDS.
- Conduct data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to support ETL/ELT development and data migration projects.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and business rules documentation.
- Support regulatory, risk, compliance, payments, lending, or core banking data initiatives.
Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience as a Data Analyst in the Banking/Financial Services sector.
- Strong experience in Data Mapping, Data Analysis, Data Profiling, and Data Governance.
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena, Lambda).
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data platforms.
- Knowledge of data modelling concepts and ETL processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with core banking, payments, lending, risk, or regulatory reporting.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
- AWS Certification is an added advantage.
