Vertex O-Series Solution Architect

10+ years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Vertex O-Series in enterprise environments

· Deep functional and technical knowledge of Vertex configuration including Tax Assist rules, jurisdictions, rates, exemption certificates, and reporting

· Experience implementing Vertex in extremely high-volume transaction environments

· Hands-on Vertex configuration experience covering both digital services and physical goods tax scenarios

· Proven ability to integrate Vertex with SAP and custom application systems

· Experience defining integration standards including API contracts, payload structures, error handling frameworks, and monitoring strategies

· Solid engineering background with hands-on experience in API design, data mapping, JSON/XML transformations, and secure integrations

· Ability to define tax data flows, transaction mapping, and reconciliation controls across upstream and downstream systems

· Experience participating in architecture reviews and guiding engineering best practices
