Job description

Lead Salesforce developer and is responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC) including configuration, customization and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations. Role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in SFDC that support business requirements and processes for continuous improvement. The Administrator should have proven experience with Lightning Aura Components, Flows, APEX programming, Force.com APIs. Also, the candidate will work very closely with MuleSoft lead in migrating existing custom API’s into MuleSoft Anypoint platform. This position functions as a member of the Medicaid ITS Team, reports to the ITS Manager, and works with ITS Development teams.

Detailed Day-To-Day Job Duties to be performed:

  • Lead and participate in all phases of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support on the Salesforce/Force.com platform.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Architects for release planning and execution.

  • Lead daily Scrum meetings and coordinate assignment and tracking of user stories.

  • Provide technical leadership, direction, and guidance to support enterprise business strategies and software solutions.

  • Identify system gaps, business capability needs, application weaknesses, and opportunities for technical improvements.

  • Conduct code reviews and validate requirements to ensure development aligns with coding standards and best practices.

  • Manage Salesforce release processes and deployments across sandboxes and production environments.

  • Design, maintain, and enhance Lightning Flows, converting legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builders.

  • Define, document, and implement SOA and RESTful architecture solutions.

  • Develop and support integrations with internal and third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs.

  • Troubleshoot integration and application issues with partner systems.

  • Develop, maintain, and manage Salesforce Communities/Experience Cloud portals.

  • Proactively identify and implement system enhancements and process improvements.

  • Communicate system changes and enhancements effectively to end users before implementation.

  • Create advanced reports, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting solutions using Salesforce reporting tools.

  • Recommend and implement Salesforce technologies, tools, and approaches to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

  • Prepare project-related documentation including:
  • User guides
  • Training documents
  • Functional specifications
  • Change requests/orders

  • Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Validate test cases and testing outcomes against business requirements.

  • Execute Integration, Regression, and Smoke Testing activities.

  • Develop complex macro-driven reports for senior leadership and management reporting.

  • Follow Salesforce reporting best practices to ensure scalability and performance with increasing data volumes.

  • Support migration of legacy systems and processes into Salesforce.

  • Perform data imports and exports using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader.

  • Log, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system issues.

  • Maintain application security, integrity, and compliance within Salesforce.

  • Recommend and review DevOps and Release Management best practices and tools.

  • Provide production support for Salesforce applications based on business priorities.

  • Maintain and manage Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) applications.

  • Provide administrative support for Field Service Lightning Mobile.

  • Monitor and manage exception logs for backend integrations with Salesforce (SFDC)., development & administration of applications in Salesforce platform-based technologies (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud)

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Technical Specialist / Lead Salesforce Developer with strong experience in Salesforce development, administration, integrations, and enterprise CRM solutions., * Strong Salesforce.com skills with hands-on experience in setting up and managing Salesforce Communities/Experience Cloud.

  • Good understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) concepts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Systems, including Analysis, Design, and Development.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in development and administration on Salesforce platform technologies including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
  • Aura Components
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Apex
  • SOQL
  • Visualforce
  • JavaScript
  • HTML
  • CSS

  • 5+ years of experience in SFDC Design, Analysis, Configuration, Customization, and Coding.

  • 5+ years of experience working with SFDC data models, data migration, and integration capabilities.

  • 3+ years of experience handling integrations using APIs/Web Services with internal and third-party systems using REST or SOAP.

  • 4+ years of experience building and managing Salesforce Communities/Experience Cloud portals.

  • Strong reporting and analytics experience using Salesforce reporting tools and Einstein Analytics.

  • 5+ years of experience using Salesforce tools such as:
  • Data Loader
  • Flosum
  • SFDC Outlook Connector
  • OwnBackup
  • Jitterbit

  • 1+ year of experience handling Salesforce and Outlook integration.

  • 5+ years of experience working in SCRUM/Agile development environments.

  • Ability to propose, document, and implement software project lifecycle solutions and related documentation.

  • Knowledge of Medicaid is a plus.

  • MuleSoft knowledge and experience preferred.

  • Salesforce Developer/Admin certifications preferred.

  • MuleSoft certification(s) preferred., Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or related f ield
