Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Scala and related technologies.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and real-time processing systems.
- Develop and consume APIs to support distributed, microservices-based architectures.
- Create and enhance modern frontend applications that deliver seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Contribute to high-performance applications supporting e-commerce, analytics, and data-intensive workloads.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Scala and functional programming concepts.
- Experience with Scala frameworks such as Akka, Play Framework, and Spark.
- Solid understanding of the Java ecosystem and Java-Scala interoperability.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience working in big data, stream processing, and real-time data environments.
- Proven experience within the e-commerce domain.
- Strong expertise in modern frontend development, including frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience building responsive, high-performance user interfaces and customer-facing web applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and modern software development practices., * Experience in e-commerce, fintech, analytics, or other high-transaction-volume environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Spark Streaming, Akka Streams, or similar real-time processing frameworks

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
