Job description

Experteer Overview As a Network Architect, you will design and optimize DoD network architectures to meet evolving mission needs. You will guide a problem-solving team, ensure security, reliability, and availability, and help deploy new capabilities across enterprise infrastructure. You’ll apply advanced routing, switching, and SDN/SD-WAN concepts to support modernization and defend critical networks. This role offers impact on national security through scalable, secure, and interoperable networks. Compensation / Benefits * design, deploy, and support DoD network and security architectures * troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across enterprise infrastructures * analyze current networks to improve security, reliability, and availability * document architectures, procedures, and troubleshooting workflows (including ZTNA, BGP policy behavior, NGFW IDS/IPS configurations, NAT/SNAT flows) * guide cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders in deploying new capabilities and technologies * advise clients on multi-vendor network hardware and security platforms Tasks * 5+ years designing, deploying, and supporting DoD hybrid networks with Zero Trust * 2+ years network segmentation/SDN/SD-WAN or virtualization experience * 2+ years documenting complex network/security architectures and ZTNA implementations * 2+ years with BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, L3VPNs * Secret clearance * HS diploma or GED Key requirements * health benefits * life and disability benefits * retirement benefits * paid leave * tuition assistance * professional development
