Application Analyst

We’re seeking a strong Application Analyst who will work closely with business stakeholders and IT partners to improve application performance, oversee the support of up to 200 applicatiions, streamline processes, and ensure users have the documentation and support they need., * Analyze business processes and application needs to provide effective system support.

• Gather, document, and validate requirements; perform gap analysis and estimate impact with technical teams.
• Create clear functional specifications and collaborate with developers, QA, vendors, and stakeholders through design, testing, and deployment.
• Support system testing, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and reporting.
• Develop user documentation and training materials; provide guidance to analysts and end users.
• Recommend enhancements, upgrades, and emerging technologies to improve functionality and user experience.
• Perform application administration activities including user maintenance and support of SSL certificate processes.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
• Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with applicable internal standards and governance requirements.

• 5+ years of experience as a Application Analyst.
• Strong requirements skills: elicitation, documentation, process mapping, gap analysis, functional specifications.
• Proven ability to partner with developers/QA and business stakeholders across the delivery lifecycle (design * testing * deployment * support).
• Comfortable operating in a managed services model: responsive, organized, and able to prioritize multiple requests.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
• Experience with application support and administrative tasks (e.g., user access/maintenance, operational support).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven environments, with familiarity navigating documented controls, audit readiness, and standardized processes/procedures.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and application providers.
• Familiarity with change/release management and structured support practices (ITIL exposure is a plus).
• Exposure to security/infra-adjacent processes (including SSL certificate workflows) in an enterprise setting.
