Backend Developer Kotlin

I am looking for a Kotlin Backend Developer (m/f/d) for a growing software company in Düsseldorf who would like to help develop modern and technically sophisticated backend solutions and continue to grow professionally in a forward-looking environment over the long term.

You’ll work on long-term software projects, further develop interfaces and backend components, take on responsibility, and have the chance to directly contribute your ideas to the technical development process. Responsibilities

• Development and enhancement of modern backend applications using Kotlin
• Design, development, and integration of interfaces and REST APIs
• Analysis and expansion of existing Java-based software components
• Collaboration on the technical design and architecture of new features
• Implementation and further development of AI-powered applications
• Ensuring high software quality through testing, code reviews, and documentation
• Close collaboration with the development team in an agile work environment

• Practical experience in backend development with Kotlin outside of Android development
• Knowledge of Java 17
• Development of modern REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of Gradle and Maven
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• High sense of responsibility and professional handling of confidential information
• Willingness to collaborate on security-related software projects
• German language skills at least at the C1 level

• Three days of remote work per week
