Test Engineer

The Test & Measurement (T&M) Test Engineering team designs, assembles and validates test solutions to be used in T&M Manufacturing facilities to test T&M products at various stages of their assembly process. We are seeking a Test Engineering intern who will work with our Test Engineers to assist with the design of these automated test systems.

You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks., * BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceLegal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role, * Prior Emerson Intern/Co-op Experience

• Strong candidates will have an understanding of the following concepts and principles:
• High-level programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW, TestStand, Python)
• Analog signal considerations
• Sources of measurement error
• Appropriate selection of instrumentation
• Statistical analysis of data
• Integration of hardware and software
• Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
• Experience with high frequency circuit design, RF and wireless communication is highly desirable, Emerson will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
