Job description
Position Overview: The developer will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, and other technical teams and will be responsible for hands-on application development, integration, automation, data modeling, troubleshooting, security, and solution optimization. This is a highly hands-on development role requiring deep experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, enterprise integrations, security architecture, and Power Platform ALM., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-Driven applications.
- Build and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, APIs, and security roles.
- Develop complex automated workflows and integrations using Power Automate.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications, external data sources, APIs, and Azure services.
- Create and maintain custom connectors and APIs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement best practices for solution architecture, governance, data modeling, and secure-by-design development.
- Support Power Platform ALM, solution management, DevOps, deployment pipelines, and environment management.
- Maintain technical documentation for configurations, data models, connectors, workflows, integrations, and operational support.
- Assist with monitoring, auditing, logging, governance, and compliance controls aligned with enterprise policies.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and technical teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Power Apps development experience , including:
- Model-Driven Apps
- Canvas Apps
- 5+ years of Microsoft Dataverse experience , including:
- Advanced data modeling
- Tables and relationships
- Security architecture
- Security roles
- Strong experience using Power Automate to build complex workflows and integrations.
- Experience creating and managing custom connectors, REST APIs, and integrations with Azure services.
- Strong understanding of:
- Power Platform environments
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Solution management
- DevOps
- Deployment pipelines
- Proficiency with:
- JavaScript
- Power Fx
- Low-code extensibility patterns
- Must hold a Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics certification OR have 5+ years of equivalent hands-on experience.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with:
- Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure API Management
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) configuration and extended Dataverse capabilities.
- Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks such as:
- HIPAA
- NIST
- PCI
- Knowledge of Power BI and reporting integrations.
- Understanding of security architecture within Microsoft Power Platform and Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID.
Preferred Certifications Any of the following are highly preferred:
- PL-400 - Microsoft Power Platform Developer
- PL-600 - Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect
- AZ-900 - Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
