SAP Developer

Roles of this type sit within dynamic delivery teams working across SAP application development, APIs and microservices architecture. The work could involve designing and implementing solutions on SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC platforms, with exposure to modern development practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and distributed systems. You could be supporting integration work across multiple systems and data pipelines, contributing to regulated environments where quality and compliance matter., * Designing and developing SAP applications across S/4HANA, ECC and RISE platforms

• Building and maintaining APIs and microservices that integrate with SAP environments
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for SAP solutions
• Contributing to data pipeline development and ensuring data quality standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on system design and technical documentation (BPMN, UML)
• Writing and optimising SQL queries and working with distributed systems architecture
• Supporting containerisation and orchestration work using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable, * Exposure to enterprise-scale SAP implementations and the opportunity to deepen expertise across modern cloud and on-premise architectures
• Involvement in building APIs and microservices that support digital transformation initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven professional experience in SAP application development (S/4HANA, ECC or RISE)
• Strong understanding of SAP APIs and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines
• Solid foundation in at least one programming language such as .NET, ASP.NET, Java (Spring Boot / Spring) or Python
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments
• SAP Certified Professional certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise

Nice-to-have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of data pipeline architecture and quality frameworks
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Power BI, Terraform)
• Familiarity with infrastructure tools (F5, Bash scripting)
• ISO 9001 compliance experience
