Job description
WebCreek is looking for a QA Tester to join our team and support the validation of a full-stack platform that integrates cloud applications, real-time communication, and hardware-connected devices. This role focuses on validating system reliability, performance, and user workflows across web applications, backend services, and device communication layers.

What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and execute manual and exploratory test cases across web applications and backend services
- Perform end-to-end testing of critical workflows, including system configuration, device onboarding, and real-time event handling
- Validate real-time communication features such as WebSockets, GraphQL subscriptions, and MQTT messaging
- Test cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior of user interfaces
- Verify system monitoring, alerting, and event management functionality
- Develop and maintain automated tests for frontend and backend components using modern testing frameworks
- Build and execute end-to-end UI automation tests
- Contribute to regression testing suites for system-level validation
- Execute comprehensive regression testing using parallel test runners
- Validate integrations between cloud platforms and on-premises components
- Test data synchronization across real-time and persistent storage systems
- Simulate device interactions and validate system behavior under different scenarios
- Verify system logic across multiple operational scenarios and workflows
- Identify, document, and track defects using version control and issue tracking tools
- Participate in test planning, estimations, and agile ceremonies
- Provide clear feedback on product quality and release readiness
- Review deliverables from a quality assurance perspective to ensure adequate test coverage
- Maintain and improve testing standards, documentation, and processes
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Experience with Git-based workflows (branching, pull requests, issue tracking)
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js or similar)
- Familiarity with GraphQL APIs and related tools
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Vitest, Selenium)
- Knowledge of Python for test automation
- Understanding of real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, MQTT)
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or Redis
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
- Experience testing systems that integrate with hardware or IoT devices
- Understanding of network protocols and distributed systems
- Experience working in safety-critical or highly regulated environments
