Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Specialist II to join our team at ePayPolicy. In this role, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading custom integration strategy, configuration, and troubleshooting for complex client needs. You will drive operational excellence by refining integration processes, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and supporting the introduction of new products. As a senior team member, you will act as a primary point of escalation, mentor junior staff, and ensure seamless communication across all client and internal stakeholders., * Integration Strategy & Configuration: Serve as the team Subject Matter Expert (SME). Lead non-standard/custom integration builds from scoping through go-live. Guide clients’ developers on utilizing ePayPolicy’s public API to create custom integrations.
- Advanced Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of escalation. Resolve complex integration requests using deep SQL, API, and JSON knowledge. Research and document emerging issues, test integration credentials, and execute test API calls to ensure seamless functionality.
- Process, Product & Internal Enablement: Create, refine, and document integration processes. Support the introduction of new products and educate internal teams (Account Management, Sales, Support, etc.) on integration features and best practices.
- Client & Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional partners (Dev, Product, Implementation, etc.) to troubleshoot complex issues that cannot be handled by the Integrations team alone. Maintain professional, consistent communication, translating technical issues into layman’s terms for clients.
- Operational Excellence & Mentorship: Maintain meticulous case management in Salesforce. Mentor junior team members, acting as a point of escalation to foster skill development and team growth.
Requirements
- Extensive Experience: At least 5+ years of Enterprise Customer and/or Technical Support experience at a SaaS company. At least 2+ of those years in Client Onboarding, Implementation, or Project Management involving internal and external clients.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable skills using API and coding applications like Postman, Swagger UI, and SQL. Familiarity with Rest APIs, JSON, and defining workflows for custom integrations.
- Excellent Communication: Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in coordinating groups with multiple calendars and schedules.
- Customer Service Excellence: Proven track record of providing excellent customer service, including conflict resolution.
- Tools and Platforms: Experience with Google Workspace, task management software, Salesforce, and general office software preferred.
- Outstanding Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and organization skills. Reliable, flexible, and resourceful, thriving while working autonomously.
- Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet and solve problems efficiently. Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing incoming requests effectively.
- Quick Learner and Mentor: Able to pick up new concepts quickly and teach others. Experienced in working in a team environment and juggling multiple projects.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and act as a point of escalation.
- AI Adoption: Forward-thinking professional who is excited to leverage, adopt, and integrate modern AI tools into their daily workflow to drive efficiency and continuous innovation. i.e. tools like Gemini or GitHub Copilot
