Data Platforms Lead (Hybrid)

Role will be leveraging AI to automate provisioning services The Database Platforms Lead is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the enterprise database platform strategy and architecture. This role ensures database technologies are scalable, secure, resilient, and optimized to support operational and analytical workloads across the organization. The position provides technical leadership for database standards, performance, availability, automation, and lifecycle management while partnering with engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams., * Lead the strategy, architecture, and standards for enterprise database platforms

• Oversee database operations, administration, monitoring, and support
• Ensure high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities
• Manage database performance tuning, capacity planning, and scalability
• Define and enforce database security, access controls, and compliance requirements
• Drive automation for provisioning, patching, monitoring, and maintenance
• Support database design, optimization, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
• Lead database upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives
• Establish operational procedures, runbooks, and documentation
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and network teams
• Mentor and guide database engineers or DBAs
• Evaluate emerging database technologies and recommend platform improvements

-Process Flows

-Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members

-Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility

-Participate in data conversion and data maintenance

-Provide best practice and industry specific solutions

-Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions

-Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.

-Participate as a team member of the functional team

-Perform other duties as assigned.
