Job description

We are looking for someone who can sit inside the operation, understand how work actually gets done, identify where AI and automation can create leverage, and then help build the systems to make it happen.

This is not a prompt engineering role. This is not an AI research role. This is not a traditional ticket-taking developer role.

This is a hands-on technical role for someone who wants to build practical AI-powered systems inside a real business with real operational complexity.

The Mission

Your mission will be to help convert operational expertise into software, automation, and AI systems.

That means learning how our business works at a deep level, then helping us answer questions like:

  • What work is still being done manually that should be automated?
  • What documents can AI classify, read, validate, or summarize?
  • What decisions can the system help our staff make faster?
  • What patterns exist in our workflows, delays, errors, rejections, and follow-ups?
  • What should our internal AI agents know, check, or recommend?
  • How do we turn years of DMV/title processing knowledge into scalable technology?

The right person will not wait to be handed perfectly defined tickets.

The right person will find problems, understand them, propose solutions, and help turn those solutions into working systems.

What You Will Build

This role will work across operations, software, data, and AI implementation.

Projects may include:

  • AI-assisted document review and validation
  • OCR and document intelligence improvements
  • DMV document classification and extraction
  • AI-generated internal notes, summaries, and follow-ups
  • workflow automation and queue routing
  • operational dashboards and insight tools
  • internal AI agents for staff support
  • AI-assisted application readiness checks
  • title correction and compliance workflow automation
  • state-specific rule validation systems
  • exception detection and escalation tools
  • integrations between MyDMV.pro, AI services, and operational systems

The goal is not to “add AI” for the sake of AI.

The goal is to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, speed up processing, and turn operational knowledge into repeatable systems.

What Makes This Role Different

Most software roles are either too far from the business or too limited to assigned development tasks.

This role sits directly in the middle of the business.

You will work with leadership, operations managers, processing staff, and developers. You will observe real workflows, ask questions, identify friction, and help build solutions that directly affect how the company operates.

One day you may be sitting with a team member watching how title documents are reviewed. Another day you may be designing an AI workflow to classify attachments, building a prototype, reviewing extracted data, or working with developers to integrate a new automation into MyDMV.pro.

We need someone who is comfortable moving between:

  • business process,
  • software systems,
  • AI tools,
  • data,
  • and real-world operational execution., You do not need to know every tool we use, but you should have real technical depth and be strong in several of the following areas:
  • software development
  • Python
  • JavaScript or TypeScript
  • SQL and databases
  • APIs and system integrations
  • OpenAI APIs or Azure AI Services
  • automation workflows
  • OCR or document processing
  • cloud platforms, especially Azure
  • internal tooling
  • workflow systems
  • data extraction and validation

Helpful additional experience:

  • Azure AI Studio or similar AI development platforms
  • LangChain, LangGraph, or agent orchestration tools
  • vector databases and embeddings
  • RAG systems
  • workflow orchestration platforms
  • operational analytics
  • document AI systems
  • compliance or regulated workflow environments

What Success Looks Like

A successful person in this role will help us make visible progress quickly.

Success may look like:

  • manual document review time is reduced
  • repetitive staff follow-ups become AI-assisted
  • documents are classified more accurately
  • applications are checked for readiness more consistently
  • staff can get better answers from internal AI tools
  • operational bottlenecks become measurable
  • AI workflows move from idea to working prototype to production
  • MyDMV.pro becomes smarter with every workflow we improve

Long term, this role should become a major driver of how we automate and scale the business.

Why This Opportunity Matters

The title and registration industry is full of manual work, fragmented processes, outdated systems, and complex state-specific requirements.

That creates a rare opportunity.

We have the operational knowledge, the workflows, the data, and the software platform. Now we need the right person to help connect those pieces into intelligent systems.

For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to help build something highly practical, highly specialized, and genuinely valuable.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, We are looking for a technically strong, highly motivated builder.

The right candidate should have a demonstrated history of creating, shipping, implementing, or improving technology systems. This could come from software development, automation engineering, AI implementation, systems integration, startup work, internal tooling, or other technical project experience.

We care less about perfect credentials and more about proof that you can build.

You should be someone who:

  • has strong technical instincts,
  • learns quickly,
  • takes ownership,
  • communicates clearly,
  • enjoys solving messy real-world problems,
  • can work with both technical and non-technical teams,
  • and has the drive to turn ideas into working systems.

This role is not for someone who has only experimented with ChatGPT or AI tools casually.

We are looking for someone who can connect systems, understand data, work with APIs, think through workflows, and help implement production-grade automation.

About the company

Maggard Information Associates has spent decades working inside one of the most complex and underserved areas of business operations: vehicle title, registration, DMV processing, and compliance.

MyDMV.pro is the software platform we are building to modernize that world.

This is not a simple SaaS product. It is an operational platform built around real workflows, real documents, real state-by-state rules, real compliance requirements, and real processing teams handling high-volume DMV-related transactions every day.

We are now looking for an AI Implementation Engineer to help us take the next major step: turning our operational knowledge, workflows, documents, and data into intelligent systems that reduce manual work and make the business faster, more accurate, and more scalable.
